James Corden is only into his second week on the job and he’s already killed Katie Couric.
Or at least that’s what the new Late Late Show host thought last night when he welcomed the veteran TV journalist — only to watch in horror as she stumbled coming down a flight of stairs, tumbling down them and crashing to the ground in a crumpled heap.
His eyes widening with horror, Corden issues a few bleeped obscenities as he rushes to the side of his apparently unconscious guest. When he gets there to see if she’s alive, he discovers he’s just been punk’d by Katie Couric in an epic April Fools prank. Watch:
