Showtime Announces Premiere Date For Season 8 Of ‘Shameless’, Plus Trailers For New Shows ‘White Famous’ And ‘SMILF’

Showtime has a few new shows coming your way this fall.

“White Famous” and “SMILF” are two of the new series premiering and here is your first look at the brand new comedies.

The first series, “White Famous”, is a new show with former “Saturday Night Live” star Jay Pharoah who plays a struggling comedian looking to break out.

The show is loosely based on Jamie Foxx’s career, which helps as Foxx will star in the series and is also an executive producer. Utkarsh Ambudkar, Cleopatra Coleman and Jacob Ming-Trent also star.

The other series is “SMILF”, which is about a single mother, played by Frankie Shaw, in her 20’s and is just attempting to navigate her new life as a mom.

And there is some big news for “Shameless” fans. The show announced the premiere date for season 8 and it’s coming soon. The new season premieres on November 5.
