“13 Reasons Why” season 2 will launch May 18 on Netflix, and fans of the dark teen drama finally have a first look at the upcoming season with the release of an intriguing new trailer (above).
For season 2, which has finished production, the show is adding seven new actors: Anne Winters, Bryce Cass, Chelsea Alden, Allison Miller, Samantha Logan, Kelli O’Hara and Ben Lawson.

Variety is reporting that Winter will be playing the popular head cheerleader at Liberty High named Chloe. Cass is set to play the sarcastic Cyrus and Alden will play his sister Mackenzie. Logan is set to play a character named Nina, who is an all-star athlete with a big secret.


The role of Jackie, a champion for those who have been bullied, will be played by O’Hara. Miller will play Sonya, a litigator, and Lawson will play the school’s baseball coach Rick.
The second season of “13 Reasons Why” will pick up right after Hannah’s death and will see the characters journey towards healing and recovery.


As the high school prepares to go to trial against the Baker family, some truth surrounding Hannah’s death is itching to come out while a stack of polaroids leads Clay and the gang to find the secret and what was covering it up.
