Tennis champion Roger Federer spent his 36th birthday rocking out to Coldplay in Montreal during the Rogers Cup tennis tournament.
The 2017 Wimbledon champ even got a shout-out from Chris Martin himself during the concert Tuesday night.
After the show Federer took to Twitter to thank Martin for the birthday surprise. Coldplay stopped in Montreal as part of their North American leg of their “A Head Full Of Dreams” tour.
The tennis star also posted a video of his awesome night at Quebec’s Bell Centre to Instagram and thanked his fans for all the best wishes.
Earlier in the day Tuesday, the Switzerland native hit the practice courts to the delight of his fans in the stands.
Federer is set to compete in the Rogers Cup, playing against Canada’s own Peter Polansky on Wednesday afternoon.
