Man Arrested After Rushing The Stage During Britney Spears’ Las Vegas ‘Piece Of Me’ Show

A man who disrupted Britney Spears’ “Piece of Me” show at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas on Wednesday was arrested, and now faces charges of trespassing, reports Associated Press.

While Spears was performing her hit song “Till the World Ends”, a man — later identified as Jesse Webb, 37 — rushed the stage and began dancing, which resulted in the performance being halted.

In the video of the event, Spears’ dancers and bodyguards lunge at the man to stop him; he is soon taken off the stage.

Spears didn’t immediately notice Webb dancing onstage until members of her security team came to the singer’s side. When she was alerted, she grabbed the security guard and asked if everything was OK. “What’s going on? What’s going on? Who’s hurt?” she asks.

The singer was escorted off the stage while the man was apprehended by authorities, with the audience chanting, “We love you, Britney” to show their support for Spears.

Police tell AP that security had asked Webb to leave the concert before he jumped onstage and began to dance.

Webb was arrested and taken to the Clark County jail.
