BTS’ Return Trends Number One Worldwide On Twitter In 30 Minutes

The return of South Korean sensations BTS has Twitter glued to their screens.

The band’s new concept campaign “Love Yourself” has officially launched after a new poster was shared on all of the band’s social media platforms. Within 30 minutes, “#LOVE_YOURSELF”  was the number one Twitter trend worldwide.

“Love Yourself” is a new concept series which will continue through 2017 and 2018. It is described as a continuation of BTS’ past concepts introducing previous recordings for “School”, “The Most Beautiful”, “Moment in Life” and “WINGS”.

This isn’t the first time the words “Love Yourself” have been presented on a major stage. The band alluded to their concept work while accepting their Billboard Music Award for Best Social Artist in May. The group’s lead rapper, Rap Monster, told the audience “Love myself, Love yourself.”

The poster features band member Jungkook sitting in a wheelchair. BTS’ management group, Bighit Entertainment, says “the poster is really a teaser for the concept of the ‘Love Yourself’ series which is filled with clues as to what is to come next. BTS is always wanting to keep their fans guessing and excited as the concept is rolled out.”

BTS has plans to release new music in 2017 and 2018, including an expected release scheduled for September.
