Long before President Donald Trump’s current obsessions with bragging about the size of the crowds at his rallies, boasting about winning the election (which took place nine months ago) and firing White House staffers (So long, Mooch! Seeya, Reince!) like they’re contestants on “The Celebrity Apprentice”, he was once weirdly obsessed with Robert Pattinson’s relationship with Kristen Stewart.
It may be hard to believe, but the world leader who is now blustering his way into a nuclear showdown with North Korea was once so consumed with the “Twilight” co-stars that he issued umpteen tweets about them, once even slamming Stewart for cheating on him “like a dog.”
For proof of Trump’s obsession, let’s take a walk down Twitter’s memory lane to relive just a few of his bizarre tweets about the matter:

But I guess now I’m sort of thinking, like, ‘Well, I guess that is related to me.’ But how does that fit in with all the other things going on in my life? And sometimes you think, ‘Can I use this in my acting? Or should I be putting it away?’ It’s kind of interesting, I guess. I don’t know — this could be why people get annoyed with me.”
In an appearance on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert”, Stewart likewise discussed Trump obsessively tweeting about her:
