The HBO hack continues to make headlines, with the unidentified hackers who breached the pay cable network’s computer security having obtained everything from HBO execs’ private emails to stars’ contact info to unaired episodes of “Game of Thrones”.

Demanding a hefty ransom, the hackers have also released episodes of such series as “Ballers” and “Room 104”, but it’s the “GoT” info that’s really getting fans in a tizzy as spoilers are beginning to leak out about those yet-to-be-aired episodes.

On Friday’s edition of “The Late Show”, host Stephen Colbert looked at the funny side of the hack by purporting to have come into possession of a scroll containing all manner of supposed spoilers from upcoming “Game of Thrones” scripts.

Among the upcoming “spoilers” Colbert describes: “The White Walkers come through the wall, turn to the camera and say, ‘We are a ham-fisted allegory for climate change,'” while another goofs on singer Ed Sheeran’s much maligned appearance in the season finale.

“Ed Sheeran doesn’t show up again,” quips Colbert, “but there is a scene where all of Mumford and Sons get eaten by a bear.”

Other gems from the scroll include, “Daenerys flies her dragon 88 miles an hour and travels back in time with Michael J. Fox to stop her father from being murdered,” as well as: “All of the main characters die before the last episode and the finale is just an hour of people farming.”

Colbert — known to be a huge “Lord of the Rings” fan who actually made a cameo appearance in “The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug” — ends with this one: “Next season, the series changes its name to the more honest title ‘Lord of the Rings with Butt Stuff’.”

You can catch “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” each weeknight at 11:35 p.m. ET/PT on Global, and can also watch full episodes online.
