In case you thought Victoria’s Secret had been through the ringer enough after last November’s petition against the lingerie brand’s “perfect body”; campaign,resulting in a demand for a public apology, you’d be wrong.

Plus-sized clothing company Lane Bryant has released their own version of the campaign and with it a whole new battle for beauty with their #ImNoAngel campaign.

Introducing their new initiative on Monday, April 6, Lane Bryant’s black and white print and video ads feature six models, including Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue breakout star Ashley Graham, posing together in barely there undergarments.

No big deal, just taking over the city. #ImNoAngel

The 31-second-long video shows other models Marquita Pring, Candice Huffine, Victoria Lee, Justine Legault and Elly Mayday flaunting their curves in lingerie all the while redefining what “sexy”; really is.

Now, Lane Bryant isn’t the only company to counteract Victoria’s Secret’s “limited views”; on beauty, UK lingerie brand Curvy Kate is has also fired back at the stereotypes surrounding plus-sized women, hosting a competition to find its new face in January as well as recreating the original VS ad, using plus-sized women.

“We came up with the idea as we truly believe that there isn’t one type of perfect,”; Chantelle Crabb, the brand’s PR executive told Glamour.com. “The women in the [Victoria’s Secret] campaign are beautiful, but we think that every woman is beautiful in her own right and should be represented fairly in the media too.”;
