We haven’t seen the last of the Bluths, and one of the show’s exec producers says Arrested Development will definitely be returning for another season. When exactly that will happen, however, remains the million-dollar question.

In an interview with Grantland’s Bill Simmons, Brian Grazer reveals that plans are moving forward to produce 17 more episodes for Netflix, although the time frame has yet to be revealed.

“People are loyal to [Arrested Development], and we’re going to do another 17 episodes,”; said Grazer. “So stay tuned for Arrested Development.”;

Although Netflix has yet to officially confirm that Arrested Development will return after the 15-episode fourth season debuted in 2013, there has been much talk about another season, possibly a feature film, or even both.

In fact, Netflix chief content office Ted Sarandos said in an interview with Reuters there was “no question”; the series would be returning to Netflix, but admitted it was “still speculative.”; The biggest obstacle to overcome: assembling the in-demand cast, who are all busy working on different projects.

In an interview with Pretentious Filmmakers, series creator Mitch Hurwitz revealed that he already has a plan in place for more Arrested Development, and described 2013’s season four as “act one of the three-act structure where everything goes sour.”;

A rep for 20th Century Fox, which produces the show, comfirms Grazer’s report, but in the vaguest terms possible: “Everyone involved has expressed a desire to do more episodes, but we have nothing firm to announce at this time.”;
