Lorde got together with Jack Antonoff on Sunday to perform a special cover of Paul Simon’s “Me And Julio Down By The Schoolyard” at the Outside Lands music festival in San Francisco.

The singer and her “Melodrama” co-producer sat at the edge of the stage for the stripped back, acoustic performance of the classic song.

It’s the first time Lorde has shown appreciation for Simon. In June, she tweeted a “fun fact” about her song “Loveless”, which actually includes a sample of Simon speaking.

Earlier this month, Lorde performed another acoustic cover at a music festival, with her rendition of Martha Wainwright’s “Bloody Mother F***ing A**hole” at Osheaga.
