Deadline reports Disney is developing a live-action adaptation of the classic Pinocchio tale.

The project will be loosely based on Disney’s beloved 1940 animated film about a wooden puppet given the chance to become a human boy.

Tackling the script is Peter Hedges, best known for writing About A Boy, What’s Eating Gilbert Grape, and Dan in Real Life.

The news comes in the wake of Disney’s announcement to produce a live-action film version of Winnie the Pooh. To boot, the studio already has two other animation-to-live-action movies in the works: 2016’s The Jungle Book and 2017’s Beauty and the Beast.
