Cue the “Game of Thrones” theme, as two stars of the HBO hit will be exiting Westeros and entering a mid-sized automobile to sing some favourite tunes in the next edition of “Carpool Karaoke: The Series”.

In this sneak-peek preview (above) of the episode, Stark sisters Maisie Williams (Arya) and Sophie Turner (Sansa) fasten their seatbelts and belt out such hits as Miley Cyrus’s “Wrecking Ball” and Justin Bieber’s “Sorry”.

As “Carpool Karaoke” co-showrunner Eric Pankowski tells Billboard, this particular pairing was definitely one of his favourites from the show’s freshman season.

“When we booked Sophie and Maisie from ‘Game of Thrones’, I was excited because I’m a huge fan, but there was some reluctance,” admits Pankowski.

“We don’t know them as people as well as we know some other stars like Shaquille O’Neal, or Gwyneth Paltrow,” he adds. “Are they different from these dark, intense characters? I don’t know if on ‘Game of Thrones’ we’ve ever even seen them smile. So, putting them in a car to sing music and saying, ‘Let’s see how it goes…’ It could not have been more fun. You realize they’re best friends, they have a sisterly bond and there’s a natural dynamic that comes to life on the show.”
