Pink Confirms Her 16-Year Feud With Christina Aguilera Is Over, Says She And Xtina Have ‘Made Amends’

There’s been no love lost over the years between Pink and Christina Aguilera, who famously feuded when they worked together on a cover of “Lady Marmalade” for the soundtrack for the 2001 film “Moulin Rouge!”

However, Pink recently slammed an Xtina fan account on Twitter for trying to stir things up, reiterating that the long-simmering disagreement is over, and she and Aguilera have “made amends.”

According to Rolling Stone, Aguilera explained in a 2009 episode of VH1’s “Behind the Music” that the bad blood between the two began when Aguilera’s attitude placed Pink’s nose out of joint during the recording session.

“[Producer] Ron Fair walked in, he didn’t say hi to any of us and said, ‘What’s the high part? What’s the most singing part? Christina’s going to take that part,'” Pink said in the show. “And I stood up, and I said, ‘Hi. How are you? So nice of you to introduce yourself. I’m Pink. She will not be taking that part. I think that’s what the f**king meeting’s about.'”

However, Pink has apparently learned to let it go and put the whole thing behind her, yet felt the need to comment on a catty tweet from a Xtina fan account that dissed her as “Xtina’s backup singer” in the “Lady Marmalade” video, a.k.a. “the only relevant video of her career.”

Pink fired back at the tweeter with a series of messages revealing she and Aguilera are on good terms.

Her final tweet (which, be forewarned, features some NSFW language) throws a shot right back at the original snarky post.

This isn’t the first time Pink has addressed burying the hatchet with her one-time nemesis.

In a 2016 interview with ET, Pink — who was appearing as an adviser on the 10th season of “The Voice” — had and nothing but nice things to say about Aguilera.

“Her and I have had history and it hasn’t always been wonderful, but finally, I think it just took us 15 years, and I feel like there was true love. It felt really good,” she said. “I love when you’re around to have a full-circle moment and that was a full-circle moment for me because — in all honesty — I’m a fan of hers.” Watch:
