Ria Mae is back with a brand new music video for her track “Bend”, a song about “bending” in relationships.
The catchy song has you wanting to bust a move and that’s exactly what Mae does throughout the epic video, giving off major cool-girl vibes.
The director takes us on a technicolour ride, with the music video all shot in one continuous frame.
Mae’s 2016 breakthrough hit “Clothes Off” reached Platinum status in Canada and fans have been dying for more ever since.
“This song is about struggling to leave a relationship that has extreme positives and extreme negatives,” the Canadian singer says of “Bend”. “It’s about questioning if you’re doing enough, but ultimately have a hard line as to how far you can bend.”
The multi-Juno nominated singer is fresh off a U.S. and European tour with Canadian duo Tegan & Sara, and is heading for a cross-Canada tour this fall with fellow Canuck Scott Helman called “Scott Vs. Ria”.
“Scott better be bringing his ‘A’ game,” she said of her tour mate. “I’m going to mean business on this tour.”
