Earlier this week, the “Shake It Off” singer had her social media followers slithering with suspense after posting a spooky 10-second video of a scaly, reptilian tail to Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Swift’s social media posts followed a fan theory over the name of her impending new song that picked up steam.

A user on the lyric website Genius posted a song profile for a new Swift single titled “Timeless”. The singer has not confirmed the existence of the track, but the user notes the song was “registered On ACE repertory underneath Taylor’s name.”

On Tuesday, Swift teased fans with yet another slithery video.

And she finally revealed the head of the snake in a third video on Wednesday.

Swift hasn’t released a single since her “Fifty Shades Darker” collab with Zayn, late 2016’s “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever”. Considering Swift’s significant airplay, it is easy to forget the multiple Grammy winner hasn’t released an album since 2014’s “1989”.
