Taylor Swift and Kanye West have had a turbulent relationship since 2009’s VMA debacle and things might not simmer down anytime soon.

The “Blank Space” singer revealed her upcoming studio album “Reputation” on Thursday and some people are suggesting there could be a dig at West. “Bad Blood” between Swift and West started eight years ago, when the “Stronger” rapper interrupted Swift’s VMA award speech to declare that “Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time!”

West’s 2016 album “The Life of Pablo” only complicated matters. The rapper’s song “Famous” included derogatory lyrics about Swift, which sparked huge controversy. “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex/Why? I made that b**ch famous/I made that b**ch famous,” he rapped.

Kim Kardashian leaked a phone call between the two recording artists in which Swift seemingly approved West’s lyrics about her. The Grammy-winning pop and country songstress insisted she was mislead about lyrics.

Today, keen-eyed fans are connecting the dots between the Swift-West saga and the singer’s new music. Swift teased her upcoming release with a series of ominous snake videos, which could be a reference to how Kardashian seemed to reference Swift on National Snake Day.

Furthermore, some fans have noticed that the font used for the “Reputation” album cover is remarkably similar to the font West used for his “Life of Pablo” tour merchandise, which seems unlikely to be mere coincidence.

Swift’s first single of 2017 will drop on Thursday with her sixth studio album landing on Nov. 10.
