MTV is livestreaming all the glitz and glamour of the pre-show red carpet via Twitter and MTV.com. Keep your eyes peeled for fan favourite nominees like Kendrick Lamar, The Weeknd and Alessia Cara.

This year’s awards show will be hosted by the always eccentric Katy Perry. Fans will certainly expect some epic wardrobe choices from the “Swish Swish” singer.

The MTV VMAs red carpet livestream kicks off at 6 p.m. ET/3 p.m. PT and the main show gets rolling at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m PT.
