Will Smith and DJ Jazzy Jeff have cooked up some new music for their fans.

The duo performed on Sunday at the Blackpool Livewire Festival in the UK and they had a very special treat.

Debuting their first new song since 1998, the pair dropped “Get Lit”. Smith revealed to the crowd at the Tower Headland Arena that the duo are working on more new music and this track is for the “chaos and confusion” happening in the world right now.

“I wanted to make a song that allowed people to let their light shine. We all have an inner light and sometimes this world… people can say stuff to you and tell you you can’t do and you know you can but when they tell you that it kinda knocks you down a bit right so I wanted to make a record that reminded each and every one of y’all to let your light shine,” Smith said.

It’s not a Smith and DJ Jazzy Jeff show if they didn’t perform their hits, of course. The duo gave the crowd what they wanted by performing “Gettin’ Jiggy Wit’ It”, “Men In Black”, “Miami”, “Girls Ain’t Nothing But Trouble”, “Parents Don’t Understand”, “Summertime” and “Just The Two Of Us”.
