Along with a stand-up set filmed in front of a classic brick wall at The Comic Strip, “Jerry Before Seinfeld” will feature an on-location tour of the comedian’s youth, including a visit to his childhood home, as well as home video footage from when he was a kid.
The special will also feature conversations between Seinfeld and some of the comedians he started out working with in his early days as an aspiring comic. Viewers will also get a peek at Seinfeld’s library of legal pads, on which he’s written every joke of his career since 1975.
“Jerry Before Seinfeld” premieres on Netflix Sep. 19.
