At long last, Quentin Tarantino’s The Hateful Eight has an official trailer. Well okay, scratch that: it’s a teaser trailer. And there isn’t a single frame from the movie to be seen. That said, it still manages to spin one heck of a yarn.

The premise: shortly after the Civil War, eight strangers find themselves stranded in a freak snowstorm somewhere along the American frontier. And it turns out they share a dark secret of some kind. Of this, more we cannot say.

The Hateful Eight stars Michael Madsen, Tim Roth, Channing Tatum, Kurt Russell, and — last but not least — Mr. Samuel L. Jackson. It’s slated for release later this year. Until then, enjoy the teaser!
