TV’s unlikeliest duo are back with a new promo for the upcoming season of their off-kilter talk show “Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party”, and they’re channeling Demi Moore and the late Patrick Swayze to do it.
In the brief promo, the pair spoof the most iconic scene in Oscar-winning movie “Ghost”, with Stewart, 76, appearing to be deep in concentration while making a clay pot on a spinning on a potter’s wheel.
Or so it appears, until the camera pulls back to reveal that she’s actually icing a chocolate cake, joined by a ghostly Snoop, 45, who hungrily licks icing off her fingers.
The new promo made its debut during Sunday’s broadcast of the MTV Video Music Awards, and Snoop himself teased the new promo on Twitter ahead of the show:
The upcoming season promises to be a star-studded one, with guests to include P. Diddy, Jamie Foxx, Usher, Patti Labelle, LL Cool J, Queen Latifah, Don Cheadle, Kate Upton, Terrence Howard, Jussie Smollett, Lil Yachty, Charlie Wilson, La La Anthony, Sherri Shepherd, Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas, Michelle Rodriguez, Cedric the Entertainer, Lil Rel Howery, Kat Graham, Steve Aoki, Wendi Mclendon-Covey, RuPaul, Faith Evans, Tamar Braxton, Wilmer Valderrama, Anthony Anderson, Christina Milian, G-Eazy, Margaret Cho, Wendy Williams, Post Malone, T-Pain, Karrueche Tran, Kelly & Sharon Osbourne, Rae Sremmurd, Lance Bass, Wanda Sykes, Ty Dolla $ign, Gary Owen, Laverne Cox, Lil Yachty, Craig Robinson, Jeannie Mai, Tichina Arnold and Ross Matthews.
