Kendall Jenner is set to receive a big honour this month.
The model will be named the “Fashion Icon of the Decade” at New York Fashion Week in September. Jenner, 21, will be given the award by The Daily Front Row’s 2017 Fashion Media Awards on Sept. 8.
On Tuesday, the Daily Front Row revealed its 2017 Media Issue cover, featuring Jenner, and creative director Mario Testino.
Jenner’s award will be presented to her by iconic British stylist and fashion journalist Katie Grand.
When it was revealed that Jenner would be getting the award, not everyone was happy. Many disagree that she deserves the title and think it should be going to someone like Rihanna:

In addition to Jenner, other honourees include Mario Testino for Creative of the Year, and Jordan Barrett for Male Model of the Year.
“Girls” creator Lena Dunham and her friend Jenni Konner’s Lenny Letter site will also be recognized during the ceremony as the Best Digital Destination.
