Miranda Lambert And Keith Urban Top Nominations For 2017 CMA Awards

The nominees for the 51st Annual CMA Awards, honouring the best of the year in country music, were announced Monday morning, with Miranda Lambert, Keith Urban and Little Big Town taking the lead.

Lambert received the most nominations with five: Single, Song, Music Video and Album of the Year, as well as Female Vocalist of the Year.

Urban and Little Big Town each came away with four nominations. Urban is up for the big Entertainer of the Year prize, as well as Male Vocalist, Music Video, and Single. Little Big Town is up for Single, Album, Music Video, and Vocal Group.

Taylor Swift also received a nomination for writing the Little Big Town song “Better Man”.

Other big nominees include Eric Church, Maren Morris, Thomas Rhett and Chris Stapleton, who each received three nominations.

The 2017 CMA Awards will be hosted by Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood and broadcast live Nov. 8 at 8 p.m. ET.
