Fans of “Back To The Future” can have a piece of movie history as the light-up Nikes worn by Michael J. Fox in “Back To The Future Part II” will go up for auction.
Marty McFly’s fan-favourite piece of movie memorabilia will be auctioned off in the UK starting September 26.
“We’re super excited to be offering Marty McFly’s Nike shoes from ‘Back to the Future Part II’ as part of Prop Store’s Entertainment Memorabilia Live Auction on 26th of September 2017 at London’s BFI IMAX proudly presented by ODEON,” said Prop Store CEO Stephen Lane in a statement. “We’ve got hundreds of fantastic lots going under the gavel, including Jules’ wallet from ‘Pulp Fiction’ and Tony Montana’s hand-painted mansion portrait from ‘Scarface’, which is complete with bullet holes!”
Bids for the sneakers can be made online or over the phone leading up to the auction. Prop Store will livestream the event for diehard fans who can’t make it to London.
The shoes are expected to sell between £25,000 and £ 35,000 ($50,000 – $55,000 CAD).
