George Clooney, Oprah Winfrey And More To Appear On Hurricane Harvey Telethon

George Clooney, Oprah Winfrey, Beyonce and more are coming together for a star-studded telethon to aid those affected by Hurricane Harvey.

Presented by Texas-born rapper Bun B and Justin Bieber’s manager, Scooter Braun, the one-hour television special, “Hand in Hand: A Benefit for Hurricane Harvey Relief”, will be based in Los Angeles with stages in New York, Nashville, and San Antonio (live from country music star George Strait’s benefit concert).

Other stars set to appear include Jamie Foxx, Tori Kelly, Karlie Kloss, Matt Lauer, Rob Lowe, Matthew McConaughey, Dennis Quaid, Julia Roberts, Kelly Rowland, Adam Sandler, Ryan Seacrest, Blake Shelton, Michael Strahan, Barbra Streisand and Reese Witherspoon with more to be announced.

“Hand in Hand” will air live on ABC, CBS, CMT, FOX and NBC on Sept. 12, 8:00 – 9:00 p.m. ET with a replay starting at 8:00 p.m. PT, and will be available internationally through a livestream on Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube coinciding with the start of the first television broadcast.

Proceeds from the broadcast will benefit the United Way of Greater Houston, Habitat for Humanity, Save the Children, Direct Relief, Feeding Texas and The Mayor’s Fund for Hurricane Harvey Relief (administered by the Greater Houston Community Fund) through the Hand in Hand Hurricane Relief Fund managed by Comic Relief Inc.
