Kylie Jenner is demonstrating her generosity by making a big donation to a worthy cause, revealing on social media that she’ll be donating $500,000 from the sales of her Kylie Cosmetics birthday collection to the Teen Cancer America charity.
“Hi guys, I wanted to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone for helping me raise money for Teen Cancer America,” the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star wrote in an Instagram post.
“I am donating $500,000 from sales of my birthday collection and this donation will help improve the lives of teens and young adults with cancer,” she added. “Thank you all for helping me make a difference.”
According to the organization’s website, Teen Cancer America “is designed to help hospitals and healthcare professionals bridge the gap between pediatric and adult oncology care,” and “aims to educate and support hospitals and outpatient facilities in the development of specialized units for this age group. The units are a place just for teens and young adults where the cancer experience is understood and the importance of living life through the cancer journey is nourished.”
On Jenner’s birthday — Aug. 10 — she and Teen Cancer America ambassador Harry Hudson shared a video in which she announced she’d be making a donation:
