It may not have been the reunion One Direction fans hoped for, but Liam Payne still treated the world to one of the boy band’s bangers.
Payne, 24, and comedian James Corden vocally duelled on “The Late Late Show”. In a quest to settle whether boy bands or solo artists were better, the two Englishman squared off in an a cappella riff-off.
They performed hits from NSYNC, Hanson and Ed Sheeran, but ultimately united to perform One Direction’s hit “Best Song Ever”. Oh, the pair also had backup vocals from the incredible Filharmonic group!
These are busy times for the former One Direction superstar. Payne is riding high off the momentum of his new single “Strip That Down” and raising his baby Bear, five months, with girlfriend Cheryl Cole.
