You can’t turn on the radio these days and not hear Ellie Goulding’s hit song Lights! She’s a well known name in the UK and is now breaking into the Billboard charts and airwaves across the pond.

Returning to the stage last night, Ellie rocked the iconic Roundhouse in North London, an amazing venue – that has been hosting greats like Jimi Hendrix, The Doors, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin and Elton John since 1966 – that created a wicked atmosphere for the packed house. The songstress performed as part of the iTunes Festival that is hosting top performers in the month of September, streaming live on itunesfestival.co.uk for viewers to watch around the world. This week also included Lana Del Ray, with Alicia Keys and Muse taking part in the coming days.

Ellie came out to a roaring crowd, but was hidden under a black hood… what was she hiding? A new look, cornrowed, the blonde was showing off her new side for the new album, Halcyon, which will hit stores October 9.

And best of all for Toronto fans, you won’t have to wait very long to hear the new songs live, as Ellie will be there on October 14 at the Sound Academy. Trust me, it’s a show you will want to see!
