British television has long been home to naughty sexual innuendo (as seen in classic Britcom “Are You Being Served?” and “The Benny Hill Show”), but who knew this also extended to TV baking competitions?
Apparently so, which became clear in a recent episode of “The Great British Bake Off” that had viewers busting their guts, thanks to an unfortunately shaped loaf of bread that was meant to resemble a snail but instead reminded viewers of male genitalia.
Judge Paul Hollywood got the innuendo ball rolling when he demonstrated his “finger technique” on bread dough.

Yet what really pushed things into the cringe zone was a contestant’s attempt at baking a loaf of bread meant to resemble a snail perched atop a mushroom, which wound up looking like something else altogether. Upon realizing what they were looking at, Hollywood and his fellow judges collapsed into fits of giggles.
