LIVESTREAM: Halle Berry Brings ‘Kings’ To TIFF

Oscar-winner Halle Berry and Daniel Craig star in Deniz Gamze Erguven’s new feature film “Kings”, the follow-up to the director’s Academy Award nominated “Mustang”.

The movie focuses on Millie, played by Berry, a single mother struggling to make ends meet living with her multiple children in a South Central Los Angeles neighbourhood at the time of the 1992 L.A. riots.

Millie’s recluse neighbour Obie, played by Craig, comes to the rescue when she needs it most – helping to keep her kids safe after the acquittal the LAPD officers charged with brutally assaulting Rodney King.

Berry and Craig never starred together in a Bond film – Berry was Bond girl Jinx in Pierce Brosnan’s 007 film “Die Another Day” in 2002, and Craig of course took over the Bond reigns from Brosnan in 2006 with “Casino Royale” – but their on-screen chemistry was undeniable in “Kings”.

Watch the red carpet premiere live right here when Halle Berry brings “Kings” to TIFF on Wednesday, Sept. 13 at approximately 5:45 p.m. ET! Cheryl Hickey will be livestreaming, so send your questions and comments below and she’ll try to get them answered!
