Robert Redford and Jane Fonda find love next door in the new trailer for Netflix’s “Our Souls At Night”.

Based on the novel by Kent Haruf, Fonda stars as Addie Moore, a widow, who seeks Louis Waters’ (Redford) affection. While they have been neighbours for years, Addie and Louis never had contact but fall in love after Addie purses a relationship.

Bruce Bern, Matthias Schoenaerts, Judy Greer and Iain Armitage also star in the Netflix original.

Fonda, 79, and Redford, 81, reunite for “Our Souls at Night” 50 years after their first onscreen romance, “Barfoot in the Park”. The iconic duo also starred alongside each other in 1966’s “The Chase” and 1979’s “The Electric Horseman”.

Fonda was very open about shooting the love scenes between the two characters, “I live for sex scenes,” she confessed when the new film premiered at the Venice Film Festival. “[Redford] doesn’t like sex scenes, but he’s a great kisser. It was fun to kiss him in my twenties and then to kiss him again in my almost eighties.”
“We played that young love, just getting-married [in ‘Barefoot’], and now we play old people love and old people sex,” she continued.

Catch “Our Souls at Night” on Netflix, Sept. 29.
