Jennifer Lawrence is a master of deadly seduction in the first trailer for spy movie “Red Sparrow”.
Reuniting with her “Hunger Games” director Francis Lawrence, the actress plays a young woman who is manipulated into joining the Red Sparrow program — a spy training camp that turns Russian women into dangerous weapons. “Young officers trained to seduce and manipulate. To use their bodies. To use everything,” the trailer’s voiceover explains. “Call them Sparrows. That’s what she is.” Trained to use her best assets, Lawrence’s character Dominika Egorova becomes the best — and therefore the most dangerous — Sparrow of all, who must reconcile her new-found status with the woman she used to be.

Joel Edgerton, Charlotte Rampling, Matthias Schoenaerts, Mary-Louise Parker and Jeremy Irons co-star in the film, which is due to hit theatres on Mar. 2, 2018. Fans of Lawrence won’t need to wait that long to see the Oscar-winning actress on the big screen.
She also stars in boyfriend Darren Aronofsky’s psychological thriller “mother!”, in theatres Friday.
