If you’ve been wondering where you can see Canadian rock band Simple Plan, wonder no more! They are making their second stop on the FIFA Women’s World Cup™ Trophy Tour by Coca-Cola, in Toronto, April 30, 2015.

Although the boys are working on a new album, they thought it was important to leave the studio and perform for their fans. Jeff Stinco told us “we’re here to play a free show…we haven’t been here in a really long time, it was about time we got back.”; Bandmate Chuck Comeau piped in “you know we’ve been working a year and a half on the album…writing, recording… we just want to get out and play concerts again.”; But if fans are hoping for a taste of Simple Plan’s new album, they have to wait a little bit longer.  “Hopefully by June 6th we’ll be done with our record, it’s been going on for three months now”; Jeff said, but “We’re not rehearsed enough to play new songs, and they’re kind of in the process of changing”;.

The songs aren’t the only things that are changing. Chuck’s about to become a father for the first time. “Can you believe it?”; he asked our own Rick Campanelli. “No, I can’t….you’re all grown up”;. It’s hard to believe as Chuck remembers when “they used to be the youngest guys in the room. What happened?”;

They may not be the youngest in the room anymore, but Chuck told us that they don’t have any simple plans to slow down anytime soon. “It’s been fifteen years for the band, with the same band members. I think we’re starting to build some kind of legacy as a band. That’s important to us. We want to keep going, we want to see how far we can take this thing.”;
