1. How’s this for a new supergroup? Carly Rae Jepsen and Lorde have teamed up with Jack Antonoff’s band, Bleachers, for “MTV Unplugged.”

The trio sang the Bleachers’ song ‘Hate That You Know Me’ during a performance Saturday at the legendary venue, The Stone Pony, in New Jersey, which is also Antonoff’s home state. Carly Rae appears on the album version of the track as well.

Lorde also joined Jack for a piano rendition of Bleachers’ ‘Don’t Take The Money’ a song which she also co-wrote. Jack also co-produced Lorde’s sophomore album, ‘Melodrama.’

“MTV Unplugged” debuted on the network in 1989 and featured stripped-down, acoustic performances some of the biggest musical acts like Nirvana, Mariah Carey, and Jay Z before ceasing in 2000. MTV revived the series earlier this month and featured Canadian Shawn Mendes in the first episode.
