‘Fuller House’ Cast Share Awkward Strip Club Story And Favourite Olsen Twins Memory

The cast and creators of “Fuller House” have had a long and interesting journey!

John Stamos, Bob Saget, Dave Coulier, Lori Loughlin, Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin, Andrea Barber and Jeff Franklin visited Buzzfeed for a humourous conversation.

Original “Full House” stars Stamos, Saget and Coulier reflected on what was supposed to be a subtle and stealthy strip club visit. “We’re going home and I go, ‘Let’s celebrate! Let’s go to a strip club!’ Do you guys remember? And they were like, ‘We can’t go to a strip club!'” Stamos reminisced. “No alcohol, though,” Saget added. “There was no alcohol.”

Stamos continued, “‘It’s very quiet,’ I said. ‘I know the guys. They’ll let us in, it’ll be very quiet, no one will know we’re there.’ We walk in, we sneak in, and we sit down and… [holds pretend microphone] ‘Hey, hey, hey! Tonight the guys from ‘Full House’ are here. How ’bout that, girls?'”

“Bob Saget, John Stamos, Dave Coulier! Let’s bring out Tiffany!” Saget mimicked the strip club announcer.

On a far more family-friendly note, several of the show’s stars reflected on their favourite memories working with Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen. “They loved gum and they were too little to chew gum so if you were chewing gum, they always would stop and try to pry your mouth open,” Loughlin said. “They’d say, ‘What having? What having? Got gum? Got gum? What having?’ So funny.”

“There was a time when Mary-Kate didn’t want to do a scene,” Cameron Bure added. “Her hands had peanut butter all over them and she was just like, ‘I wanna wash my hands! I wanna wash my hands! I’m gonna sing! I’m gonna sing if I don’t wash my hands!’ And like, didn’t want to do the scene and it was the cutest thing ever.”

Barber had her own favourite story. “When they wanted to stop working they were just like, ‘I’m done! I’m done! I’m gonna sing if you make me stay here! I’m done!’ And we’re like, ‘OK! Guess that’s a wrap!'”

And what about the infamous date between Stamos and Loughlin? “We went on a date! We went to Disneyland,” Stamos said. “Now, she says it wasn’t a date or something, but I say when you make out on the Matterhorn it’s a date, right?”

Were you making out with her, or somebody else?” Saget teased. “Her!” Stamos insisted.

Loughlin has her own version of the story: “I say, ‘Why do you tell people that we made out on the Matterhorn?’ And he goes, ‘Because it sounds funny!’ I think the real truth is we’re too old to remember.”

Season three of “Fuller House” premieres on Netflix on Friday, Sept. 22.
