Indiana Jones is officially set for a blockbuster return to the big screen!
Producer and Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy confirmed the big news during a recent interview with Vanity Fair.
“Indiana Jones will one day be made inside this company,” she said this week. “When it will happen, I’m not quite sure. We haven’t started working on a script yet, but we are talking about it.”;
News of the reboot originally surfaced back in 2012 when Disney acquired the rights to the Indiana Jones franchise. But it seems development of the first film is low on the company’s priority list. Last year, Disney Chairman Alan Horn echoed Kennedy’s words when he told Vanity Fair, “we haven’t done anything…We don’t have a story. We need a story.”;
And while Kennedy offered fans a small glimmer of hope, she refused to confirm recent rumours that place Chris Pratt in the franchise’s lead role.
