With the season premiere of “Will & Grace” set to air on Global this Thursday, the cast members of the revived sitcom dropped by “The Tonight Show” on Friday to perform the theme song — and, for the first time ever, revealing the never-before-heard lyrics to the instrumental theme.
“Ladies and gentlemen, for the first time ever… the “Will & Grace” theme song performed with lyrics!” Fallon in his introduction before Eric McCormack, Debra Messing, Sean Hayes and Megan Mullally each took turns singing verses of the song.
Finally, Fallon joined in, telling viewers to “get down” because “‘Will & Grace’ is coming to town.”
Later in the episode, the cast sat down to chat with Fallon about the sitcom’s much-anticipated revival, discussing their real-life friendships with each other and sharing an anecdote about how attending a sexual harassment seminar led one of them to drop trou.
