‘Suri’s Burn Book’ Is Now An Actual Book

By Kate Morawetz.

Blogger Allie Hagen never thought that her off-hand Twitter comments would turn into anything, let alone a very popular blog from the perspective of one of Hollywood’s most notorious celebrity children; Suri Cruise.

“I knew I had the content knowledge to do it because I follow pop culture and celebrity lives pretty closely, but I knew that if I wrote it from my own perspective it would come across as unnecessarily mean, possibly creepy,”; says the writer. “So I tried to think of a different angle I could come at it from and it took me a while to come up with it, but then I realized it was written from Suri Cruise’s perspective.”; And just like that Suri’s Burn Book was born.

The blog’s only been around for a year, and has amassed a following of people who understand that at the end of the day these are just little kids who were born – or adopted from exotic orphanages – into privilege and celebrity.

Suri’s Burn Book: Well-Dressed Commentary from Hollywood’s Little Sweetheart is available nationwide and follows the same format of the blog. Satire-filled, humorous criticism about celebrity families from the harsh perspective of Suri, but also includes a definitive guide to the families of Hollywood.

Allie, who is now a full time writer, will continue to update the blog as the days go on, and says that before “Suri’s Burn Book dies”; she’d like to see a couple more famous couples have babies of their own.

“One is Prince William and Kate Middleton, because Suri will be distraught, but I cannot wait,”; Allie says. “Then it’s kind of random, but Joshua Jackson and Diane Kruger. I think they are so fashionable and… there’s also that… Katie Holmes old loves collection. I just think it would be fun to write about and I think they’re just so cool.”;
