Cardi B dethroned Taylor Swift and achieved a feat the music industry has not seen in nearly 19 years.

The rapper’s hit song “Bodak Yellow” took the number one spot from Swift’s “Look What You Made Me Do” on Billboard‘s Hot 100. In doing so, Cardi B also did something that no female rapper has done since Lauryn Hill in 1998.

Cardi B is the first female rapper in nearly two decades to top the chart with no other credited artists on the song.

Hip hop continues to rise as the music industry’s biggest genre as rapper Post Malone slid into second with “Rockstar” featuring 21 Savage. Swift’s lead single off her upcoming album, “Reputation”, dipped to number three.

Back to the realm of rap, Logic’s suicide prevention anthem “1-800-273-8255” – featuring Canadian Alessia Cara and Khalid – dropped from number three to number four.

And speaking of Canadians, Justin Bieber’s remix of “Despacito” with Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee rounded out the top five.
