Legendary wrestler and two-time WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair does not want his grandchildren to know about his past sex life.
Flair, 68, revealed to ESPN he slept with roughly 10,000 women over the years. The revelation was made for a “30 to 30” special on the 16-time World champion.
“I wish I hadn’t said that because of my grandkids,” he admitted to People. The “Nature Boy” said his wild sexual escapades are over. “I love the ladies,” he confessed, but insisted he loves only one woman these days.
“I only love one now,” Flair insisted. “I have never done anything since I met Wendy [Barlow, a former wrestle valet].” He is well aware of the perception people have of him. “I was bling before bling was bling,” the retired wrestler said as he flashed two gold rings, a Rolex watch and gold necklaces around his neck.
Continuing, “It’s going to be a hard sell overnight to say that ‘Hey, Ric Flair has changed.’ It’s going to take time, it’s going to take proof.”
Nevertheless, Flair is committed to putting an end to his playboy ways. “It’s still hard for me not to be me,” he confessed. “But I’m really focused on getting well and just enjoying my life with Wendy.”
Flair has been struggling with severe health problems. He had surgery to remove an obstructive piece of his bowel in August, which led to kidney failure. He was discharged and permitted to return home last week.
