Cardi B is not taking Azaelia Banks’ rant about “Bodak Yellow” lying down.
The rapper may have scored her first Billboard No. 1 with the catchy hit, but Banks was apparently displeased, taking to Twitter in a now-deleted series of tweets calling Cardi a “poor man’s Nicki Minaj.”

Banks went on, tweeting, “Charlemagne and black men in hiphop should have gotten me, remy AND nicki a number one before they gave cardi or iggy one. But literally white guys buy black men away from black women and it’s soo cringe.”
Cardi didn’t respond to Banks directly, but she did post a sly message on Instagram featuring video of Banks dancing to her song.
Cardi has gotten plenty of love from other female rappers, though, with many reaching out to congratulate her on the success of her song.
Even Minaj tweeted her excitement over “Bodak Yellow” hitting No. 1.
