Shooting a good music video can be tough work, but U2 got to go sightseeing through New York while the cameras captured it all.

The band’s new music video for the single “You’re The Best Thing About Me” is a fun blend of black-and-white and colour shots of U2 exploring all the wonders of New York City. They perform in front of the Statue of Liberty, stop for drinks at a dive bar and grab a famous slice of New York pizza.

The track debuted at a career-high number 11 on Billboard‘s Hot Rock Songs. “You’re The Best Thing About Me” is the lead single off U2’s upcoming 14th studio album, “Songs Of Experience”.

Bono has described the new single as “punk-Motown” and “punk Supremes” – reports NME. The band’s lead vocalist continued, “It’s defiant joy, we call it, ‘It’s a love song to my Mrs,’ and in these difficult times it’s important to tell your loved ones how you feel.”
