One Denzel Washington fan couldn’t believe her eyes when the actor knocked on her front door.
In need of directions, Washington stopped by a local Chicago restaurant when a group of people insisted he meet a big fan, 86-year-old Juanita Hubbard, who just happened to live across the street.
Naturally, the Oscar winner headed over to Hubbard’s place where he stayed to chat and took a few photos. Washington even posed with some of Hubbard’s neighbours.

The post includes videos of the pair chatting while holding hands, “I used to come here when I was 5, 6, 7 years old. Right up the block,” Washington, 62, can be heard saying to the group. “I’m regular folk… I’m right here. I’m not from Chicago, but I’m here unafraid.”
The Facebook post has gained a lot of love, as it’s been shared over 40,000 times.
