After Canada voted for Brittnee and Sarah to compete in the Twistos Twist competition, Brittnee won the power to pull herself AND Godfrey off the block. But wait, there’s more! She also got to choose Zach and Bruno as the replacement nominees. With Zach as the pawn, Bruno was the next houseguest headed to the jury house.

After the jaw-dropping twist, Bruno Ielo was sent packing and gave ET Canada a visit in studio to give us his thoughts on the biggest twist of the season.

“Once she pulled herself and Godfrey off, I knew that myself and Zach were going to be targeted. And when she put us side-by-side I knew I was the actual target to go home,”; he tells Cheryl. “I felt that if she wanted Zach out, she would’ve put Pili beside him.

So does he have any regrets on using the Power Of Veto on Zach last week? “I absolutely don’t regret it. I played this game using human shields in front of me all season,”; he explains. “I started with Graig. He was my first human shield for three weeks. He got evicted. That same night I grabbed Bobby. I pulled him in. Got close with him, he was the next biggest threat in the house. I used him as a shield for weeks. The night Bobby was evicted, I used that veto to save Zach to bond with Zach and use him as a shield. I knew he was the biggest target in the house. I wanted to keep him in front of me.”;

After he left the house, the evictee got a little teary-eyed when he saw a familiar face in the audience: “I looked in the audience and I saw my wife, my mom, and my sister, a very good friend of mine Sarah, and my wife’s cousin Dave,”; he says. “As soon as I saw my wife… I miss her so much. It’s been a very long time since I’ve seen her, over 60 days. And I was just so thankful that I got to at least go and see her, and hug her, and give her a kiss. That was the best feeling ever. I enjoyed it a lot. It meant a lot that I was able to go over and grab her.”;

But getting cast on the show is a big commitment. However, Bruno admits that his family was encouraging through it all.

“Throughout the whole process when I was getting casted and stuff I told her “Any moment if this is too much, you tell me and I will stop.”; She was supportive the entire way,”; he tells Cheryl. “; I have a great wife. She’s Wonder Woman. She’s amazing. Best partner in life.”;

But not every woman in Bruno’s life is all sunshine and butterflies. Before leaving the house, viewers saw quite the heated argument between Bruno and houseguest Sarah and Cheryl wanted to know if he had any regrets on the fight.

“You know what? I don’t want to say that I regret it… but I do. I mean it was my lowest moment in the game. You know, tensions are always very very high in the house,”; Bruno says. “A big move was just made. You know, you’re amped up. My emotions are high. Her emotions are high. You know she comes in the room… we start you know … she came in charging. You know, I reacted. Emotions are high. It just boiled over. It’s bound to happen in a house like that.”;

But he admits it’s all past them: “She’s a great player. I got to give her credit. She’s an absolute great player. She may take this, so no hard feelings whatsoever.”;

He may be out of the house, but that doesn’t mean he’s out of the game. Bruno is headed to jury and has a say on who gets the grand prize. So… who’s it going to be? “To win the game? Who I want to win the game would be Godfrey. Who I think can win the game? I’m going to say Sarah.”;

With only two weeks until the finale, “Big Brother Canada” is getting rid of houseguests fast! Next week is going to be a DOUBLE eviction so viewers definitely do not want to miss that.

To hear more of Cheryl’s interview with Bruno, viewers can tune-in tonight on ET Canada at 7:30 p.m. ET/PT on Global.
