Patton Oswalt’s Honest New Netflix Comedy Special Airs Oct. 17

Patton Oswalt is expressing his pain through comedy in his upcoming Netflix special.

The longtime comedian’s new stand-up special tackles the emotional toll his wife’s untimely death took on him.

Oswalt, now 48, was left to care for his 7-year-old daughter after his wife, crime writer Michelle McNamara, suddenly passed away last April.

The “King of Queens” actor pours his heart out in “Patton Oswalt: Annihilation”, a one-hour special which premieres on Netflix on Oct. 17.

Oswalt’s new special marks his second collaboration with the streaming service, following his Emmy and Grammy Award-winning “Talking for Clapping”.

The comedian also recently made appearances on shows like “Veep” and “Lady Dynamite”.
