Adam Levine is the new brand ambassador for YSL’s latest fragrance.
“The Voice” judge was revealed as YSL’s new face for their fragrance Y in a statement released by the company.
“YSL Beauty is proud to welcome on board the supremely talented recording artist, actor, and presenter Adam Levine,” the company said in a press release on Monday, Oct. 9.
The statement continued, “A multifaceted modern man, he is the embodiment of Y, the latest masculine fragrance launch by YSL.”
“Adam will engage a stylish, music-loving audience, his popular appeal ensuring a wide-reaching public and social presence,” YSL said. “A perfect pairing for Y’s innovative spirit & creative style, the fragrance is rooted in that same sense of freedom that Adam personifies.”
YSL, a beauty brand owned by L’Oreal, cited the Maroon 5 frontman’s “infectious sense of humour” as one of his key selling points. His 10.3 million Instagram followers probably didn’t hurt his chances either.
Levine seemed equally thrilled by the collaboration. “I’m psyched to be collaborating with YSL Beauty, a brand which has always appealed to me for its standout style and groundbreaking imagery,” the singer said.
