Jackie Chan is ready to karate-chop his way into a different type of acting… musicals.
The 63-year-old actor, best known for his butt-kicking roles, sat down with Stephen Colbert on “The Late Show” and revealed he’s classically trained in music, fighting and running while holding a cup full of tea without spilling it.
Chan told Colbert he’s sick of being type-cast as policemen in every film offer, “Can I have something different like ‘Mamma Mia’? Or ‘La La Land’?”
Chan added, “I’m an actor who can fight, not a fighter who can act.”
After revealing to the audience “Rush Hour 4” is “finally” happening, Cobert and Chan chatted about his latest project, “The Foreigner” which is in theatres Friday.
