Pamela Anderson has joined forces with longtime collaborator PETA to take on two causes at once!
The blonde beauty has gone nearly nude in the name of water conservation and animal cruelty for PETA’s latest campaign. Obviously this isn’t anything new for Anderson, but this time, she recreates Alfred Hitchcock’s iconic shower scene from the movie, Psycho.
“Rivers are siphoned off, not just for the animals but also for crops grown to feed animals on factory farms,”; Anderson told Us Weekly. “Producing one pound of beef uses as much water as about six months of showers.”;
Posing completely naked in a bathtub, Anderson covers up with the help of a small washcloth as she’s pictured screaming. “Meat and daily farms drain half the country’s water,” the ad reads. “Making a splash for the environment doesn’t just mean shorter showers.”
Shot by famed photographer David LaChapelle, the campaign slams the dairy farmers of California for their large part in the state’s drought issues.
