Miley Cyrus loves answering fan questions and playing with puppies, and it turns out she loves doing both at the same time.
In a new interview, BuzzFeed got the “Wrecking Ball” singer to answer questions from fans out of a jar while cuddling with a group of absolutely adorable puppies.
One fan asked what inspired Cyrus the most while recording her new album, Younger Now.
“I wrote my new album at my studio ‘Rainbowland’,” Cyrus recalled, “which is also a song that I sing with Dolly Parton. And so just being around all the colours always really inspired me.”
Asked what it was like to sing her famous song “The Climb” on “The Tonight Show” after the shooting in Las Vegas, Cyrus said, “It felt so good because it had a purpose, when there was the tragedy in Vegas it was so amazing to be able to sing that song and be able to make it current for what everyone needed to hear: that there’s always gonna be another mountain, another struggle, but it’s all about the climb.”
In between cuddling with one of the puppies, and giving another one the name Turnt, “because you are turnt,” Cyrus also gave advice to young women who feel their identity is repressed.
“My advice would be, surround yourself with friends who think like you,” Cyrus said, “but also make sure you expose yourself to different types of people but keep people around you that always lift you up and support you.”
